I’ve spent 25 years at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and innovation — first as a medical doctor, then as a tech founder, and now as an advisor to startups, corporates, and government. I founded Healthengine and led it from a lounge-room idea to Australia’s largest consumer healthcare platform raising around $80M from some of the world’s leading investors. I’ve also navigated complex challenges: media and regulatory scrutiny, high-stakes lawsuits, and the realities of scaling a national business in uncertain environments. These experiences shaped my philosophy:

Beyond business and innovation, my work is guided by meaningful contribution. Through the Wellspring Foundation (link to Wellspring Foundation page), my family supports initiatives in health, education, and economic empowerment globally. We do this in partnership with the Meridian Global Foundation (link to Meridian website) a collective giving network I co-founded 20 years ago to promote grassroots philanthropy. I’ve been happily married for almost 30 years and a proud father to two wonderful young men.
I love learning, skiing, investing, travelling, great food, and hiking beautiful places around the world.
